NY JAY — Jay Planning Board approves Vacca subdivision application for October hearing. Board members Matt Gillman and Mike Straight voted unanimously to declare the two-lot Covered Bridge Lane subdivision an unlisted action under the State Environmental Quality Review Act and classify it as a minor subdivision. A public hearing is scheduled for October 8, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 6:00 p.m.
The board reviewed comprehensive plan survey findings, which drew over 200 responses with strong interest in short-term rental regulations and limited enthusiasm for a dog park.
