misc · Meeting of June 30, 2026

NY JAY — Climate Smart Task Force updates members on sustainability initiatives. The task force reported that EV chargers in Jay and Upper Jay are installed and nearing activation following network setup, with a compost program expected to launch in July through a state-funded contract. The state Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant is being amended to include bid specification writing for windows and roof insulation, with NYSEG securing a 500 dollar sponsorship for this year's Sustainability and Energy Fair.
