NY JAY — Jay Climate Smart Task Force advances renewable initiatives with April launch. Seven members approved updates on solar panels, EV charging stations at multiple locations, a food-scraps compost program launching April with May ribbon-cutting, and state energy efficiency grant work for insulation and window replacement. A 2025 benchmarking report from Nancy Bernstein and Michelle showed overall decreases in building energy consumption.

Wally Walters presented Climate and Infrastructure recommendations for the town's Comprehensive Plan update, with task force feedback due April 6.
