Board authorizes $10,000 grader equipment lease

NY JAY — Jay Town Board authorizes $10,000 monthly grader equipment lease in preparation for purchase. Supervisor Matt Stanley was authorized in a 4-0 vote to sign a one-month lease with CCR Sales & Service, with the prepaid amount applied toward a possible purchase of a SMG200AWD Grader. Attorney Daniel Manning III approved the terms for the lease component only.
The town board also determined that Essex County IT would handle a planned WIFI project, eliminating the need for a municipal agreement and avoiding town expenditures.
