NY JAY — Climate Smart Community Task Force unanimously approved updates on six sustainability initiatives. The highway garage solar panels are complete pending final grid connection; EV chargers will be installed at Jay, Upper Jay, and Au Sable Forks in the coming weeks. Rivervalley Regeneratives and Compost for Good were awarded the food-scrap pilot hauling and education contract.

A preliminary efficiency audit identified wall insulation as the highest-impact measure for Passive House Certification, though task force members cautioned that costs may not justify returns.
