NY JAY — Jay Town Board approves $244,500 grader purchase and authorizes multiple capital investments. The special meeting, presided over by Supervisor Matthew Stanley, saw unanimous approval for purchase of a 2025 SANY SMG200 AWD Grader from CCR with bond financing, acquisition of the former Fire District Building for $100,000, and contingent acquisition of property from the Estate of Michael Snow with a grant-funded environmental study. The board also adopted Best Value Procurement Local Law #2, authorized cooperative purchasing through Sourcewell, and scheduled three water district improvement public hearings for July 15, declaring itself SEQRA lead agency for the water district upgrades.
